The Computer & Networking Technology program produces graduates prepared for positions as technicians and community administrators inside a variety of business and public settings. This course will present college students with a deeper understanding of laptop and data community safety. Students will study an infrastructure design course of for securing pc methods and information networks, as well as methodologies and best practices for implementing security, safety policies, safety testing, and incident response. The underlying rules used to secure networks including security applied sciences, intrusion detection, authentication, and cryptography basics will likely be mentioned. This course can even introduce students to network safety planning, know-how, and organization, and the legal and ethical issues related to network safety.
